Challenge Disney’s Worldwide Technical Service group provides DVD mastering and logistical services to its studio customers; their success is based on delivering the highest quality product on-time, every time. Their challenge was to implement best practices across the organization to ensure consistent, repeatable and successful processes. Business System Implementation ISSI guided Disney Worldwide Technical Services though implementation of a comprehensive Business Management System that supports the corporation’s strategic objectives and aligns business processes with specific performance targets. The 9 month effort included documentation of key business processes, identification of measurable objectives, and system review and improvement. Results
Implementation of the system resulted in successful registration to ISO 9001:2000, an internationally recognized business system standard for quality management systems. This achievement is the first of its kind at a major studio and among the first in the entertainment industry. |
